Abstract:
The RMG industry forms a backbone of Bangladesh’s economy, but it continues to grapple with challenges like supply chain inefficiencies, production delays, and increasing operational costs. Some works found Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system integration as a possible source of increasing profitability and lowering costs within the sector. Quantitatively researching on 20 RMG companies covering 400 respondents shows that ERP implementation encompasses improved production coordination, decreased lead times, and optimized resource distribution. However, challenges, including high implementation costs and low technical know-how, remain. The findings reveal that strategic-approach-perceived ERP adoption, constant system-in-use evaluation, and skilled employees can promote sustainable growth and develop the international competitiveness RMG firms of Bangladesh.
