Abstract:
The research problem lies in exploring the nature of the relationship between digital transformation and organizational performance, and how organizations can maximize their digital investments to achieve outstanding performance. The research aims to study the impact of digital transformation on organizational performance, analyze the relationship between the adoption of digital technologies and organizations' ability to achieve efficiency and effectiveness, and identify the associated challenges. The research adopted a mixed methodology (quantitative and qualitative), where data was collected through a questionnaire distributed to a sample of organizations in the health and service sectors, with 100 participants from various administrative and executive levels. The results showed a strong significant impact of digital transformation on improving operational efficiency (correlation coefficient of 0.72), and a strong relationship between digital strategy and service quality (0.68). They also revealed a moderate positive relationship between digital transformation and employee satisfaction (0.55). The most prominent challenges facing the implementation of digital transformation were resistance to change (45%) and lack of digital skills (40%). The research recommended investing in digital training to develop employees' skills, strengthening digital leadership, developing technological infrastructure, adopting a culture of innovation, and restructuring organizational processes in line with digital transformation requirements. The research concludes that the success of digital transformation is not limited to investing in technology alone, but requires an integrated interaction between digital tools, organizational capabilities, and effective leadership to achieve sustainable organizational performance.
